Majestic Heritage, Sparkling waterfall, refreshing art and delectable local cuisines are some of the fascinating features of Naggar- Jana Waterfall Trip. The fun doesn’t end here as there are lots of enroute places one can explore.
To start off embark from Manali and take Naggar Highway. Upon reaching Naggar, highlights to cover will be Naggar Castle and Roerick Art Gallery. Naggar Castle which was once the residence of Raja of kullu is now famous for National and International movie shoots. The beguiling landscapes and majestic heritage of Castle makes it a perfect spot for movie activities. Approx 1-2 kms ahead of castle lays a serene Roerick Art Gallery named after famous Russian painter Nicholas Roerich. The art gallery showcases exclusively made paintings by Roerick, his home & belongings and also proffers enchanting views of the valley.
From the gallery, a slight reverse will take us on adventurous road to Jana Fall. All the words will fall short when the views of imposing mountain peaks and riveting valleys will strike your eyes. Nashala Village is another highlight of Jana Waterfall Trip. The village is well known for its beautiful landscapes, traditional architect and simple living much adored by “laid back life” lovers.
Finally our long awaiting destination will arrive – Jana Waterfall. This petite fall is a good place to unwind and spend a serene time in midst of nature. The traditional food served at Jana fall is the main ingredient of this trip. For some adventure one can indulge in Zipline and get bird’s eye view of the valley. After rejoicing delightful hours at Jana Fall it is time to return to Manali.
The fun doesn’t end here as the exploration to trout fish farm is still left. While returning to Manali take a halt at Trout fish farm. One can order a freshly caught trout or just stroll in the verdant farm. There are varieties of flowers and birds that will surely delight your heart.
