Day 1 / (Delhi)
Overnight Volvo Journey from Delhi to Amritsar (1 Night)

Report at the designated Delhi pickup point (e.g., ISBT Kashmiri Gate / Majnu Ka Tilla) by 09:00 PM – 10:00 PM. Board your AC Volvo / Scania Sleeper bus for an overnight journey across the GT Road towards the Holy City of Amritsar.

Day 2 / (Amritsar)
Arrival in Amritsar, Sri Harmandir Sahib & Heritage Walk (1 Night)

Arrive at Amritsar Bus Stand in the morning, where our private cab driver will receive you and transfer you to your hotel. Check in around 12:00 PM (early check-in subject to room availability) and freshen up. In the afternoon, pay your respects at Sri Harmandir Sahib (Golden Temple) and visit the historic Jallianwala Bagh memorial nearby. In the evening, explore Heritage Street, taste authentic Amritsari Kulcha, and view the Golden Temple lit up at night.

Day 3 / (Amritsar)
Wagah Border Beating Retreat Ceremony & Partition Museum (1 Night)

Post breakfast, visit the Partition Museum at Town Hall and the historic Durgiana Temple. In the afternoon around 03:00 PM, drive to the Wagah Border (30 km from Amritsar) to witness the patriotic Beating Retreat Ceremony performed by the Indian BSF and Pakistan Rangers. Return to Amritsar in the evening for leisure time and shopping for Phulkari dupattas and Punjabi juttis at Hall Bazaar.

Amritsar to Dalhousie Hill Drive (200 km / 5–6 hrs) (1 Night)

After breakfast, check out from the Amritsar hotel and take a scenic mountain drive up to Dalhousie in Himachal Pradesh. Check into your hotel upon arrival, refresh, and relax. In the late afternoon, enjoy a peaceful walk along Subhash Baoli, Panchpula waterfall, and the colonial-era St. John's Church at Gandhi Chowk. Spend the evening strolling through the local Mall Road market.

Excursion to Khajjiar (Mini Switzerland of India) & Chamba (1 Night)

Post breakfast, proceed on a scenic drive through pine and deodar forests to Khajjiar, often referred to as the "Mini Switzerland of India." Explore the vast saucer-shaped green meadow, Khajjiar Lake, and the 12th-century Khajji Nag Temple. Enjoy optional adventure activities such as paragliding, horse riding, or zorbing at your own expense. In the afternoon, continue to the historic town of Chamba to visit the ancient Laxmi Narayan Temple Complex and Chaugan ground before returning to Dalhousie.

Local Sightseeing, Transfer to Bus Terminal & Return Volvo to Delhi (1 Night)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and check out. Visit Dainkund Peak (the highest point in Dalhousie) for views of the snow-capped Dhauladhar range and Bakrota Hills. In the afternoon, take a private cab transfer to Pathankot / Dalhousie Bus Stand to board your return AC Volvo bus to Delhi. Arrive back in Delhi the following morning.

  • Pick-up and drop transfers from Amritsar Bus Stand and Dalhousie/Pathankot Bus Stand to respective hotels.
  • Accommodation for 2 Nights in Amritsar and 2 Nights in Dalhousie in a double-sharing room.
  • MAP Meal Plan featuring 4 Breakfasts and 4 Dinners at hotel dining halls.
  • Intercity transfers and all sightseeing (including Khajjiar & Wagah Border) via private sedan car.
  • Toll taxes, fuel charges, state permits, parking fees, and driver allowances included.
Exclusions
  • 5% GST on the total package cost.
  • Adventure activities at Khajjiar (paragliding, horse riding, zorbing).
  • Monument entry fees, museum permits, and camera charges.
  • Local tax/union taxi charges in Khajjiar or Dalhousie if required during heavy snow conditions in winter.
  • Lunches, mid-journey bus snacks, personal expenses, and tips.
Payment Policy
  • For Himachal packages 50% advance payment of the total package cost must be deposited as an advance in our company’s account to confirm the package. Remaining 50% on arrival.
  • Except Himachal: 75% advance payment required, especially for higher category hotels in all destinations & packages for other states. Remaining 25% of the package cost will be collected on arrival (First day of the Tour).
  • According to hotel policy, especially in 4* and 5*, International Packages, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Train & Flights – 100% Advance payment is required for booking confirmation.
  • Process of Making Advance Payment
Cancellation Policy
  • All the cancellations must be communicated in written. Token amount is non-refundable in any cases.
  • Cancellations made 15 Days prior to travel date will attract cancellation charges. Cancellation charges will vary from 25% - 50% of the total tour package cost.
  • 100% Retention charges will be levied for bookings cancelled within 15 days of travel date or No-show scenarios.
  • No refunds will be given in case of missed or unused services. This includes Flights, Trains, Hotel stays, meals, sightseeing, transfers, entry tickets, permits or any other BBH services.
  • Bharat Booking Holidays have the right to cancel your Invoice due to insufficient Advance Amount
  • i.e. 50% of the total Tour Package Cost.
  • In case clients are suspected to indulge in any kind of illegal activity or violent behaviour, Bharat Booking Holidays will immediately stop the services while holding all the refunds.
Terms & Conditions
  • General Policy
  • Tour packages can be customized, except Fixed Departure tours, which are offered on pre-set itineraries and dates.
  • All requests for changes, additions, or modifications must be communicated to Bharat Booking Holidays in writing.
  • Services will be provided strictly as mentioned in the Booking Confirmation Voucher.
  • Hotel check-in and check-out timings are governed by individual hotel policy and are subject to availability.
  • Base category rooms are provided unless an upgraded category has been specifically confirmed in writing.
  • Meals, transfers, and sightseeing services operate as per the scheduled timings mentioned in the itinerary.
  • Flights, trains, sightseeing, and adventure activities are subject to weather conditions and operational feasibility.
  • Complimentary services included in a package are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged, redeemed, or adjusted for cash.
  • No refund shall be provided for services that remain unused or unveiled by the guest.
  • Bharat Booking Holidays shall not be held responsible for delays or disruptions arising from traffic, weather, strikes, natural calamities, or other circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
  • Any complaint regarding services rendered must be reported in writing within 7 days of tour completion. Complaints received thereafter may not be considered.
  • Documents Required
  • A valid Government-issued Photo Identity Card.
  • Booking Confirmation Voucher issued by Bharat Booking Holidays.
  • Flight/Train Tickets, Permits, and Passport/Visa, wherever applicable.
  • Guests undertaking certain adventure activities may be required to sign an indemnity form prior to participation.
  • Amendment Policy (Prepone / Postpone)
  • Requests to prepone or postpone travel dates must be made in writing at least 15 days prior to the scheduled departure.
  • Date changes are subject to availability and any applicable seasonal price differences.
  • A postponed package remains valid for a period of 1 year from the original date of booking.
  • Bookings may be transferred to a friend or family member, subject to applicable terms and conditions.
