Day 1 / (Delhi)
Delhi to Amritsar (450 km / 8–9 hrs) | Overnight Volvo Journey (1 Night)

Report at the designated Delhi pickup point (e.g., ISBT Kashmiri Gate / Majnu Ka Tilla) by 09:00 PM – 10:00 PM. Board your AC Volvo / Scania Sleeper bus for an overnight journey across the plains of Punjab toward the Holy City of Amritsar.

Day 2 / (Amritsar)
Arrival in Amritsar, Golden Temple & Evening Heritage Walk (1 Night)

Arrive at Amritsar Bus Stand in the morning, where our private cab driver will receive you and transfer you to your hotel. Check in around 12:00 PM (early check-in subject to room availability) and freshen up. In the afternoon, pay your respects at the world-renowned Sri Harmandir Sahib (Golden Temple) and visit the historic Jallianwala Bagh memorial nearby. In the evening, explore the vibrant Heritage Street, taste traditional Amritsari Kulcha and Lassi, and view the beautifully illuminated Golden Temple at night.

Wagah Border Beating Retreat Ceremony & Local Museums (1 Night)

Post breakfast, visit the historic Partition Museum located at Town Hall and the ancient Durgiana Temple (Lakshmi Narayan Temple). In the afternoon around 03:00 PM, drive to the Wagah Border (30 km from Amritsar) to witness the patriotic Beating Retreat Ceremony performed jointly by the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) and Pakistan Rangers. Return to Amritsar in the evening for leisure time and shopping for Phulkari dupattas, Punjabi juttis, and dry fruits at Hall Bazaar.

Gobindgarh Fort, Shopping & Return Volvo Bus to Delhi (1 Night)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, check out, and visit the historic Gobindgarh Fort to explore the Sikh Military Museum and ancient ramparts. Head to local markets for last-minute shopping or lunch at traditional dhabas. In the afternoon/evening, take a private cab transfer to the Amritsar Bus Stand to board your return AC Volvo bus to Delhi. Arrive in Delhi the following morning.

  • Toll taxes, fuel charges, state permits, parking fees, and driver allowances included.
Exclusions
  • 5% GST on the total package cost.
  • Monument entry fees, Gobindgarh Fort light & sound show tickets, and museum permits.
  • Personal expenses, extra food, mid-journey bus snacks, and tips.
  • Auto-rickshaw or electric rickshaw charges near the Golden Temple pedestrian precinct where commercial cabs are restricted.
Payment Policy
  • For Himachal packages 50% advance payment of the total package cost must be deposited as an advance in our company’s account to confirm the package. Remaining 50% on arrival.
  • Except Himachal: 75% advance payment required, especially for higher category hotels in all destinations & packages for other states. Remaining 25% of the package cost will be collected on arrival (First day of the Tour).
  • According to hotel policy, especially in 4* and 5*, International Packages, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Train & Flights – 100% Advance payment is required for booking confirmation.
  • Process of Making Advance Payment
Cancellation Policy
  • All the cancellations must be communicated in written. Token amount is non-refundable in any cases.
  • Cancellations made 15 Days prior to travel date will attract cancellation charges. Cancellation charges will vary from 25% - 50% of the total tour package cost.
  • 100% Retention charges will be levied for bookings cancelled within 15 days of travel date or No-show scenarios.
  • No refunds will be given in case of missed or unused services. This includes Flights, Trains, Hotel stays, meals, sightseeing, transfers, entry tickets, permits or any other BBH services.
  • Bharat Booking Holidays have the right to cancel your Invoice due to insufficient Advance Amount
  • i.e. 50% of the total Tour Package Cost.
  • In case clients are suspected to indulge in any kind of illegal activity or violent behaviour, Bharat Booking Holidays will immediately stop the services while holding all the refunds.
Terms & Conditions
  • General Policy
  • Tour packages can be customized, except Fixed Departure tours, which are offered on pre-set itineraries and dates.
  • All requests for changes, additions, or modifications must be communicated to Bharat Booking Holidays in writing.
  • Services will be provided strictly as mentioned in the Booking Confirmation Voucher.
  • Hotel check-in and check-out timings are governed by individual hotel policy and are subject to availability.
  • Base category rooms are provided unless an upgraded category has been specifically confirmed in writing.
  • Meals, transfers, and sightseeing services operate as per the scheduled timings mentioned in the itinerary.
  • Flights, trains, sightseeing, and adventure activities are subject to weather conditions and operational feasibility.
  • Complimentary services included in a package are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged, redeemed, or adjusted for cash.
  • No refund shall be provided for services that remain unused or unveiled by the guest.
  • Bharat Booking Holidays shall not be held responsible for delays or disruptions arising from traffic, weather, strikes, natural calamities, or other circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
  • Any complaint regarding services rendered must be reported in writing within 7 days of tour completion. Complaints received thereafter may not be considered.
  • Documents Required
  • A valid Government-issued Photo Identity Card.
  • Booking Confirmation Voucher issued by Bharat Booking Holidays.
  • Flight/Train Tickets, Permits, and Passport/Visa, wherever applicable.
  • Guests undertaking certain adventure activities may be required to sign an indemnity form prior to participation.
  • Amendment Policy (Prepone / Postpone)
  • Requests to prepone or postpone travel dates must be made in writing at least 15 days prior to the scheduled departure.
  • Date changes are subject to availability and any applicable seasonal price differences.
  • A postponed package remains valid for a period of 1 year from the original date of booking.
  • Bookings may be transferred to a friend or family member, subject to applicable terms and conditions.
