Dharamshala is a popular hill station in Himachal Pradesh that attracts a large number of tourists annually. It is the principal township of the Kangra district and was formerly known as Bhagsu. This hill station boasts of a thick cover of oak and conifer trees along with snow-capped mountains on three sides.

During the British rule, Lord Elgin (Viceroy from 1862-63) was mesmerized by the beauty of the destination as it reminded him of his home in Scotland. It is said that Lord Elgin requested the British Monarch to make Dharamshala the summer capital of India. It received a major setback in the year 1905 when it was devastated by a massive earthquake. Mcleodganj and Forsytheganj, two popular suburbs of Dharamshala, served as health resorts and resting places for British rulers.

It attracts a lot of tourists all year due to its scenic beauty and culture. The facilities and infrastructure in Dharamshala are other factors that make it a favorable tourist destination. Day - 1 ( DELHI–DHARAMSHALA(480 KMS/ 11-13 HRS) )

City - New Delhi

Desc:- Start your exotic trip to Dharamshala by boarding the Volvo from Delhi Volvo pick up point (Guests are requested to report at scheduled time & Pickup location will be mentioned on your provided ticket). Overnight journey will be by Volvo. Dharamshala has everything for a perfect holiday–Tranquil waterfalls,out-stretched tea gardens,cricket stadium for sports lovers,holiness of Dalai Lama and a peaceful environment to lounge around.

Day - 2 ( ARRIVAL+ DHARAMSHALA LOCAL SIGHTSEEING )

City - Dharamshala

Desc:- Reach Dharamshala where our representative will greet you and transfer you to the hotel (Check In time will be as per hotel policy and early check-in will be subject to availability and extra cost). After fresh up proceed to cover Mcleodganj, Tsuglagkhang complex. It is the official residence of 14th Dalai Lama which also hosts Namgyal Gompa, Tibet museum, library, cafe and a souvenir shop. Experience the serenity in the adopted home town of His Holiness, The Dalai Lama. Other interesting places to cover in Dharamshala will be Bhagsu Nag Temple & Waterfall, St. John Church, War Memorial, Cricket Stadium and local market. Overnight stay will be at Hotel.

Day - 3 ( KANGRA VALLEY DAY TRIP )

City - Dharamshala

Desc:- After breakfast enjoy your day trip to Kangra valley (30 kms from Dharamshala). On the way, cover Kangra Museum and Mata Shri Bajreshwari Devi Mandir. Our trip will continue to Kangra Fort – A fort where one can spot evidence of battles fought among Indian rulers, Mughals, British colonies. Later return to Dharamshala for the overnight stay in Hotel.

Day - 4 ( DHARAMSHALA – PALAMPUR – DHARAMSHALA -DELHI (480KM/11-13 HRS) )

City - Dharamshala

Desc:- After breakfast check out from the hotel and then we will cover Chamunda Devi Temple. The name is derived from Chanda and Munda which were the two Rakshasa killed by mighty Devi. Later have some fun in Gopalpur Zoo and also laze out in Palampur Tea Gardens. In evening come back to Dharamshala and you will be droped at Vovo pickup point at 6pm for your onwards journey.
